MOSIP DECODE PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) contains information about the collection, use, storage, and processing of personal data collected in connection with your registration and participation in the hackathon competition, MOSIP Decode.
MOSIP Decode is organised by The International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (hereinafter referred to as “MOSIP”, “us”, “we”, “our”), which will be the controller of your personal data.

This Policy applies to all registrants, participants, judges, speakers, guests, and any other persons engaged with MOSIP Decode (“you”, “your”).
Your protection and security is important to us. We have designed the hackathon in a manner that only personal and other information required for your participation and our public display and promotion of the event(s) is collected.

How do we store your data?
Your personal data will be held in a secure environment by MOSIP. Access to your personal data is limited to those personnel of MOSIP that require it, and only for the purposes outlined above. MOSIP maintains appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect against unauthorized or unlawful processing of personal data and/or against accidental loss, alteration, disclosure or access, or accidental or unlawful destruction of or damage to personal data.
MOSIP will keep your personal data for a maximum period of 90 days after declaring the results of MOSIP Decode. We will delete your personal data when it is no longer required for the purposes stated earlier.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our site, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.
How do we protect children’s data?
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
MOSIP does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
